This hand painted vase was originally my grandmother's in Holland. It's actually a pitcher but all 3 generations have used it as a vase. I have more around the house and plan on painting them also.

shells on beach

5" x 7" daily pastel painting
shells on beach - (unfinished)

I'm hoping to finish this before the day is out.
It's been a crazy last 2 months and I haven't had the time to paint.
My mother was in the hospital and although she is home now, much of my time is spent helping her and my father.
I was already having a difficult time juggling before this happened.
My admiration goes to those of you who continue to paint on a daily basis regardless of circumstances.
I didn't expect to paint today but I was in the studio cleaning up and just started working. I really missed the daily process and I hope to get back into the swing of it asap!
